I can think of no better way to practice this month’s theme than by shooting alongside the very woman who challenged us to it! I did just that recently after a photo gig found me in New York City for a weekend. It was one of the first super nice days of the year, and it seemed like everyone was out and high on life, aimlessly strolling around the city just to enjoy the weather. I’ll be sharing more of these on Every Second Sunday on film next Sunday, so feel free to follow along there!
Happy Street Snapping!

love those, especially the last one!!!
great shots! When I think of great street photography, I think of New York (and want to be there…)
These are great, but that last one is just perfect! 🙂

its always fun to see how they turned out after seeing them in the making right?
love them!
Wonderful. I like how you composed the two piano photos to bring out their unexpectedness in the outdoor city setting.
it was pretty magical!
Living so far away, I’m always very happy I get to see New York through the eyes of my fellow muses 🙂 These are fabulous – thanks Cara!!
Street photography on film in New York. It does not get better than that!
Fantastic photographs. A beautiful glimpse of New York life. I love the man playing the Grand piano but the Boxer takes the dog biscuit.
