“If I could tell the story in words, I wouldn’t need to lug around a camera.” ~Lewis Hine

Taking photographs is like telling stories. Sometimes we’re relating the stories of those we know and love. Other times, we’re inserting ourselves into the lives of total strangers, telling their stories the way we think they should go. One of my favorite places to do this is on the New York City subway. Almost 700 miles of tracks winding beneath the most populous city in the U.S. layered with countless people, each with their own unique story.

It’s become a passion of mine to capture some of these moments, to insert my version of life into each situation.

I’ve seen stories of love…
