As I considered what to share with you today, I got to thinking about the people and experiences that make me happy. Not necessarily the big, sweeping things that make me happy. But the small moments, the connections, the memories I capture with the click of my shutter that make me happy. And that got me scrolling through some photographs I haven’t shown anyone before, but that are images that bring a smile to my face.
Like my dear friend, Corinna, my biggest cheerleader right now…
Fellow Mortal Muse, Deb, whom I adore…
And of course, learning to see myself, with my own eyes, through my own lens…
What about you? What are some people, moments, experiences you’ve recently captured that bring a smile to your face? Those photos you want to share, just because? Share a link to them in the comments — I’d love to see!
PS–All photos here are straight out of the camera (SOOC) and shot with my 35mm Canon AE-1 film camera!

So sweet and a great idea. Gotta love film!
Thanks, Maureen!!
Ah, so good Meghan! I do love going through my archive once in a while. Thank you for the reminder to do it again!
Thanks, K! It is fun to stroll down memory lane.
What wonderful memories these must be, Meghan – thank you for sharing! That one of Debra really makes me smile 🙂
Thanks, Jenny!! 🙂
I just had to move 3 years of photos off my computer and onto an external drive because the laptop was choking. I know it’s the right thing to do, but I hate to think that it’s not going to be a piece of cake to go back into the archives. Love seeing what you’re looking back at (and cheering you on!).
UGH, that sounds like a chore, C. And thanks for the constant cheering. xo
