A couple of things have happened recently, both of which influenced my selections for today’s Mobile Mosaic.
1) I finally got a new phone
2) I started another 365, this time on Instagram (please feel free to follow me!)
I am completely new to mobile photography, and have found so much inspiration in looking through our Mobile Group on Flickr. I am constantly amazed by how creative/skilled people have become with editing on their mobiles. My mind = BLOWN!
I wanted to showcase a few of the images that took my breath away this week in our Mobile group. I am captivated by the above images because of their textures, tones, and overall mysterious qualities. They tell me so much, yet so little, and I find myself studying them over and over.
So, for all of you mobile aficionados out there, what are some of your favorite photo apps, and which ones should I download right this second?
hipstamatic for it’s film and lens combinations (not on android, has to be iphone)
VSCO camera for clarity and great presets
Mextures or Alayer for textures, gradients, light leaks etc.
Thank you! I had not heard of Mextures or Alayer…on it now!
Mextures is awesome and is extremely versatile.
Hipstamatic is what I use for my #shakeitout project and can be really fun.
Check out VSCOcam, for basic edits.
Checkout the collect app to help you keep track of you 365, it’s a sanity saver!
Yay, Anna! So cool to see that you’re getting into mobile photography 🙂 I can only second the recommendation for VSCO Cam; another favourite of mine is Snapseed.
Enjoy your venture into mobile photography. The apps I love are (in no particular order) Camera+ , Snapseed, VSCO, Hipstamatic, PicTapGo, Mextures, Diptic, and Collect.
I was on vacation and missed this – so thrilled to see my image in the beautiful grid! Thank you!. Mobile photographers continue to push the limits and inspire me. I’m so thankful for your support!
Right this second download Tangled FX, Snapseed (If you don’t already have it), Glaze and an image blending app like Image Blender. I have over 500 apps so it’s hard to choose a favorite!
