Birds

One of the big attractions here in Virginia is a theme park called Busch Gardens, Williamsburg. Like most theme parks there are roller coasters, spinning rides, shows and restaurants but Busch Gardens also has something most theme parks don’t, an aviary. Birds are some of my favorite things to photograph but they can be such a challenge in the wild. The aviary allows me to get close and interact with the animals, without cages or wire bars in the way. Normally I don’t bring my camera to the park but every once in a while my husband and I will make a very special trip, just to see the birds.
