Ever since Kirstin posted her app review about Steller, I have been shooting differently. Despite the fact that I have been blogging for several years, I don’t always think in a linear fashion when creating my posts. But, Steller does. It has me in a rhythm of story telling. It’s different then a blog post for me, different then shooting to share. I am hoping this rhythm and style sticks with me. Because in truth, telling a story or having my audience feel the story and dig in to the image, is exactly what I am striving for in my work. Today I would like to share a few of my favorite images and snip-its from my Steller stream.
I challenge you to get out and get in the rhythm of telling a story this month. You don’t have to be on Steller to do this. Maybe add a link in the comments section to a blog post or an album on Flickr. Can you tell a story with just one image? What happens when you add a few more bread crumbs to the trail?
Keep chasing the light, Vanessa
I am ever so envious of the steller app – hoping for it to be released for Android soon. I love the fact that it has you shooting differently!
Oh Jenny! That is so frustrating. It really has shifted my process. Maybe a bit more like how I would blog in the very beginning? Hard to say. Whatever it is, I love the feeling of putting the photographic puzzle pieces together to share.
Vanessa, I’ve been following your Stellar stories and loving them! Glad you delved into this.
Thanks Nikki! It’s been really wonderful and almost a journal like way to keep up with our exploring of the area!
Alright! I gotta start using my Stellar app!!
Yes! I need to go on some more adventures so I can get steller-ing again!
i want to see you all on stellER. <stupid autocorrect kept changing this to AR until I put it in caps lol
I couldn’t agree more!
I agree! I see differently and then shoot differently. I am loving your steller stories!
We talked a little about that when you were here! It’s really fun, isn’t it?
