Every single device I own is at full photo tilt. I’ve avoided organizing my photo workflow for months by shooting and scanning and producing more work than any single memory drive (I own) can handle. Bet you can guess what I’m up to today . . . yep, delete, label, backup, repeat. Coffee and chocolate are a must. Possibly help (any volunteers), this could go on for weeks!
In the meantime, here’s a list of favorites I collected to share with you this week:
Dorothea Lange: Grab a Hunk of Lightning (a PBS American Masters documentary)
Tutorial Thursday: Emulsion Lifts from the Impossible Project
Photojojo’s Apps and hacks for editing on your phone and Susannah’s tips: How I shoot with my iPhone
7 Qualities of Stunning Black and Whites
This photo series by Danila Tkachenko plus Gabriela Herman’s entire portfolio
If you’ve ever wondered how to license your photos, read this tutorial
Finally, an easy backup solution for iPhone (or Android) photos: Dropbox + Carousel = Yippee!
If you have something you’re excited to share, leave a link in the comments. I’d love to hear what you’re reading/watching/listening to lately!
